SK Shipping, in presence of 15 involved officials from Korea Western Power, Hyundai Merchant Marine, etc., held a signing ceremony of long-term bituminous coal transportation agreement on 2 panamax-grade vessels for Korea Western Power's fuel for electricity generation. Through the agreement, SK Shipping could secure 8 vessels (with annual transportation among of about 8 million tons) exclusive for bituminous coal transportation for thermal power generation, which is a main national strategic cargo while securing stable profit from continuous long-term supply.
