On March 2, 2012, SK Shipping signed an agreement with Hyundai Heavy Industries to buy an 82,000-CBM VLGC. The shipbuilding contract ceremony, which was held at Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Seoul, was attended by over 20 officials from 3 companies including Kyuho Whang, CEO of SK Shipping, Heon Jung, CEO of SK Gas, and Jaesung Lee, CEO of Hyundai Heavy Industries.
