On July 11th, SK Shipping and KOMIPO(Korea Midland Power Co.,Ltd) agreed to a long-term contract worth KRW 120 billion. The contract is for the delivery of 1.1 million tons of soft-coal over the next 10 years. Twenty guests from SK Shipping and KOMIPO including the CEO of SK Shipping, Hwang Kyu Ho, and the CEO of KOMIPO, Nam In Suk, attended the contract signing ceremony.
Under the terms of the contract, starting 4th quarter of 2011, SK Shipping will convey soft-coal from Australia South Africa, and Canada to Korea.
